The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The support stage established for intervention encounters a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service sassa status point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise website usage of Social Assistance expert status sassa services,” the agency said.
